Financial Aid Counselor

• Assist in the evaluation of financial aid applications and determination of eligibility for financial assistance
• Counsel students and parents about the financial aid process and all financial aid options
• Complete verification of student files according to Department of Education regulations
• Assist in the review and application of institutional scholarships and state financial aid awards to student accounts
• Provide quality customer service as needed, including meeting with students and answering phone calls and e-mails
• Computer proficiency required, experience using Banner preferred
• Strong customer service, organizational, and analytical skills
• Experience of 1-3 years in financial aid preferred

Education:  Associate’s Degree required / Bachelor’s degree preferred
