The Financial Aid Director is responsible for the administration, management, and compliance of all federal, state, and institutional financial aid programs. This position reports directly to the Dean of Student Services on the Jackson County Campus oversees Jackson County Campus financial aid staff, ensures efficient processing of financial aid applications, and provides leadership in developing strategies that support student recruitment, retention, and success.
The director must stay informed of regulatory changes, maintain compliance with financial aid policies, and collaborate with various campus departments to enhance financial aid operations and student services. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to balance institutional traditions and academic integrity with the individual needs of the students and faculty; understand the responsibility to act in accordance with guidelines set by the Family Education Right to Privacy Act (FERPA); and exhibit the ability to work effectively with a diverse group of administrators, faculty, staff, and students.
