Coastal Carolina University is currently accepting applications for the following full-time position: Customer Service Representative in the Office of Financial Aid & Scholarships. The Customer Service Representative is the primary front-line contact for the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships. This position provides basic financial aid information to prospective, current, and previous students, visitors, and guests of the University.

Required Qualifications: A high school diploma and relevant program experience. A bachelor’s degree may be substituted for the required program experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in an educational setting preferred. Customer services/client support services preferred.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
• Guest Relations - Manages guest services for the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships, ensures that customers are provided with appropriate information, directing guests to other locations as needed, and routing inquiries to the appropriate office personnel. Oversees all incoming traffic to the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships.
• Communication - Serves as a primary information specialist for incoming communication (telephone and email) to the Office of Financial Aid and scholarships. Manages the dissemination of voicemails and emails to appropriate offices/individuals. Answers incoming inquiries regarding basic financial aid processes and forms.
• Counseling/University Knowledge - Participates in financial aid information training sessions and independently seeks answers to questions presented by constituents. Stays informed of all aspects of the University and financial aid policies and procedures.
Program Assistant (AH30/61121958/FTE-S01106P), full-time position with benefits. SC State Pay Band: 04. Salary Range: $33,339.00- $47,509.00. Hours vary depending on office demands. Normal work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Must be flexible to meet the special scheduling needs of the university.
